The FCE process is a systematic and objective evaluation process designed to determine an injured worker’s or new hire’s safe work ability. It can also help answer many of the critical medical-legal questions in Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury Cases. The FCE is an important bridge between the injured worker and their future, and seeking a quality FCE is important to this process. It’s primary purposes are to:
-
Determine if a worker can move from a light duty job to a regular duty job
-
Determine the extent of the medical impairment
-
Assist with the settlements of workers’ compensation and personal injury cases
-
Help determine if there are motivational issues associated with the worker’s desire to return to work
Keeping You Informed
Because clear and timely communication is vital, we have created an electronic reporting system to help you track Workers’ Comp injuries treated in our satellite facilities and emergency center. The report includes information about the diagnosis, treatment, work status, and physical capabilities of your employee.
