Gordon Hospital Auxiliary Surpasses “Love Lights” Goal

1/16/2008

The Gordon Hospital Auxiliary is pleased to announce they have surpassed their fundraising goal for the Love Lights tree-decorating campaign this Christmas and raised more than $3,600 for the new Emergency Center addition.

“We want to thank all the volunteers who made this year such a success,” said Jean Cleveland, Auxiliary coordinator at Gordon Hospital. “It is the combined effort of all our volunteers that make our auxiliary perform so well.”  Top Love Lights salespeople include Auxiliary members Alpha Rutledge and Jane Cochran.

In November 2007, the auxiliary pledged to raise $10,000 for the new Emergency Center. The money raised from Love Lights will go towards the balance and the rest will come from money raised in the hospital gift shop and through future fundraisers.

“Thank you to everyone in the community who purchased a Love Light,” said Cleveland. “We hope that the Love Light made your holiday brighter, as your contribution will brighten our new Emergency Center.”
