Gordon Hospital is pleased to announce that Cory Reeves has been named Chief Financial Officer.
A graduate of Southern Adventist University, Reeves holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He completed his MBA degree with honors at Webster University in 2006. Prior to joining Gordon Hospital, Reeves was director of Accounting at Florida Hospital System, where he has worked in several financial capacities. Reeves’ background also includes a year of missionary work in Micronesia where he worked as teacher and vice-principal at a Seventh-day Adventist school.
“I chose to come to Gordon Hospital because it is a part of Adventist Health Systems and I love the mission of the organization,” said Reeves. “There are not many finance jobs that you can have, and at the same time, say you are extending the healing ministry of Christ.”
“Cory is a wonderful addition to our executive team,” says Carlene Jamerson, president and CEO of Gordon Hospital. “He is committed to the mission of our organization and brings experience from the largest hospital in our system to Gordon Hospital. We are proud to have him and Amanda here.”
In his spare time, Reeves enjoys Bible study, biking, hiking, the outdoors, gardening, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. He and his wife, Amanda, have a 9-month-old son, Noah, and will reside in Calhoun.
