Members of Gordon Hospital’s hospitality department have been awarded the hospital’s prestigious Extra Mile Award.
This special award was created by members of the hospital’s Employee Engagement Committee to recognize employees who go above and beyond the call of duty on a regular basis. It is awarded monthly to a deserving employee selected by the hospital’s directors.
“This is the first time that an entire department has been recognized for this award,” said Tony Shadix, director of facilities for Gordon Hospital. “Our directors felt that every member of the hospitality services team consistently goes that extra mile for our patients, visitors, and staff. We are very blessed to have such caring individuals on our team.”
