Being Successful

What does success mean? To us at Gordon Hospital, being successful means that we are fulfilling our Mission on a daily basis. Whether we are caring for patients on one of our floors, ministering to an employee's spiritual needs, or making decisions which impact the lives of so many...we want to strive to provide quality and compassionate care.

We hope that as a patient or visitor that you see something different about our hospital. That our Christian Mission and Philosophy shows through in everything that we do. It is so important to us as a hospital, and as a healthcare system, that each of our employees understand our Christian philosophy, that they undergo SHARE training upon being hired.

What is SHARE? SHARE is:

  • S--Sense people's needs before they ask
  • H--Help each other out
  • A--Acknowledge people's feelings
  • R--Respect the dignity and privacy of others
  • E--Explain what is happening.

SHARE helps us better understand your needs and the needs of your family. Throughout our hospital, you will see SHARE comment boxes. If you feel like we could do a better job of implementing our SHARE philosophy, please let us know. If you feel would like to recognize an individual for providing superior service, you may make a comment on that card as well.

As always, when you come to Gordon Hospital, we want your experience to be one that meets your expectations. Because our patients are what are most important to us.
