Gordon Hospital is an award-winning 69-bed community hospital that offers extensive inpatient and outpatient services to the residents of Gordon County as well as patients from neighboring Bartow, Murray, Floyd, and Whitfield Counties.
Founded in 1953, Gordon Hospital is conveniently located on Interstate 75, an hour northwest of Atlanta and an hour south of Chattanooga. The area’s explosive growth offers the promise of a vibrant economy for many years to come.
Gordon Hospital is committed to reinvesting in services, technology and facilities to keep up with the continuous changes in the healthcare industry and to benefit the community. Recently the hospital has undergone an 87,000 square foot expansion and renovation which includes a new Emergency Department, as well as new ICU, PCU, and Med/Surg rooms. On campus, the Harris Radiation Therapy Center provides cancer patients and their families with the best cancer care in the region, including support services, exercise class, nutritional support and diet planning, counseling, and cancer care coordination.
Gordon Hospital and its partnering physician practices and clinics employ a workforce of nearly 1,000, making it the second highest employer in the county. Gordon Hospital has 100 total employed providers, primary care providers in 8 locations, multi-specialty providers in 8 locations, 4 rehabilitation locations, an infusion center, radiation oncology center, home health, and ambulance services. Gordon Hospital is one of 45 award-winning facilities owned by Adventist Health System, the largest not-for-profit Protestant health system in the world.
