(Calhoun, Ga) — Gordon Hospital is pleased to announce the addition of Ann Sheenan Golden, MD to the active medical staff.
Dr. Golden, who is board certified in orthopaedic surgery, is currently accepting patients at her office located in Suite 102 of Gordon Hospital’s Medical Office Building, 1035 Red Bud Road.

Dr. Golden will bring to Gordon Hospital a wealth of knowledge regarding treatment options for pediatric and adult hand and wrist issues. Her services include treatment of hand and wrist fractures, arthritis of the hand and wrist, carpel tunnel syndrome, nerve compression syndromes of the hand and forearm, tendon and nerve injuries in the hand and forearm, deformity and contractures of the hand, and joint replacement in the hand and fingers.
Dr. Golden will also continue seeing patients at Rome Orthopaedic Clinic, located at 100 Three Rivers Drive in Rome, where she has practiced since June of 2007. Prior to joining the Rome clinic, Dr. Golden served as Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery, Hand, Wrist, Elbow, and Microvascular Surgery, at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. In 2006, she was awarded the Teaching Excellence Award from the Southwestern Medical School, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. Golden received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maine, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. She obtained her MD in 1995 from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, and performed her residencies in general surgery and orthopaedic surgery at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas.
Also, from 2002-2003, Dr. Golden performed a Fellowship in Hand and Microsurgery at the renowned Christine Kleinert Institute for Hand in Louisville, Kentucky.
