Donna Davis Earns Extra Mile Award
Physical Therapist Donna Davis has been awarded Gordon Hospital’s prestigious Extra Mile Award.
This special award was created by members of the hospital’s Employee Engagement Committee to recognize employees who go above and beyond the call of duty on a regular basis. It is awarded monthly to deserving employees selected by the hospital’s directors.
“Donna is receiving this award because of her self-less attitude and hard work ethic,” says PT Solutions’ Matthew Graziano, director of rehabilitation services for Gordon Hospital. “She has been a positive voice during the rehab transition for both PT Solutions and Gordon Hospital. She has carried the load of two therapists on the inpatient floor while we were waiting on help to arrive without complaining.”
Davis, who holds a Master of Science degree in physical therapy from Andrews University, says she is honored to be recognized.
“Gordon Hospital has so many hardworking employees that it is truly an honor to be considered for this award,” she says. “I’ve so enjoyed the 3½ years that I’ve been at Gordon Hospital and look forward to many more.”
Davis resides in Calhoun with her husband Woody Davis, who works for Gordon EMS, and their eight children: Brad, Nicole, Jacob, Michaela, Joshua, Jordan, Stephanie, and Jadyn. In her spare time, she enjoys camping, traveling, and spending time with her family.
