Eighteen Gordon Hospital employees recently expanded their education by earning degrees or licenses in their areas of expertise.
Pete Weber, president and CEO of Gordon Hospital, congratulated the employees on their accomplishments.
“On behalf of Gordon Hospital, I am pleased to offer my congratulations to these employees for achieving this milestone in their lives,” Weber says. “We understand and appreciate all the hard work and dedication that went into achieving these academic goals.”
Gordon Hospital employees who recently expanded their education include:
n Paramedic License: Andrew Cornwell, Leslie Greeson, Cynthia Morton, Troy Perry, and Jonathan Pressley, all of Gordon EMS.
n Associate of Science in Nursing degrees: Anna Long and Amy Patterson, both of the progressive care unit; Cortney Burger and Amanda Townsend, both of the medical/surgical department;
n Bachelor of Science degrees: Terrilyn Blackstock of the radiology department (Nursing); Camran Caldwell of the human resources department (Management); Sharon Vess of the human resources department (Organizational Management); Leslie Ruff of the intensive care unit (Nursing); Patti Hoover of the progressive care unit (Nursing); Jacob Faulkner of the progressive care unit (Nursing); Autumn Lang of the medical/surgical department (Nursing); and Amy Garner of the medical/surgical department (Nursing);
n Master of Science degrees: Amy Holloway of the intensive care unit (Nurse Practitioner).
